11-Year-Old Girl Rescued At Bodega Bay
Girl falls from rocks, picked up by helicopter.
An 11-year-old girl from Butte County suffered a bleeding head injury when she fell 20 feet off a rock near Bodega Bay on Saturday, according to the Sonoma County Sheriff's Office.
The girl, who was visiting the area with her aunt from Magalia, Calif., fell while climbing a large rock at School House Beach, according to Lt. Tim Duke.
The Sheriff's Office rescue helicopter was called in around 1:45
p.m. to assist. Rescuers were forced to work quickly not only by the urgency of her injuries, but by rising tides on the beach, Duke said.
The girl was lifted from the beach by helicopter, and then taken
to a local hospital for treatment of head trauma.
Her condition was not available Sunday afternoon, Duke said.

Why was this girl allowed to climb that rock when there are so many signs warning folks to stay off? The coast guard can only do so much and is not a babysitting service.
I am tired of reading about stupid animal behavior while in the midst of nature and wild animals.

It might not be a babysitting job but u know when u where a kid u did the same shit. U would not be saying this if it was ur kid or sister so befor u say anything eles about my little sister stop and think about when u where 11 and if u did what ur mom and dad said not to do.

Everyones thoughts should be with the family and friends... Not bad mouthing. This is a horrible thing to have happen and I wouldnt wish it on anyone! My prayers are with this family! I would also assume that if anyone has anything else negative to say about this just keep it to yourself. This family needs positive thoughts hopes and prayers. Immagine this being your child and get responces like that... Im heated for them! How disrespectful can someone be...

Poor Michelle I hope she's better soon and I might not be her friend yet but I do care about her and ya I wanna be friends it's sad that she is in the children's hospital in Oakland because that is where my little cousin went when she was really sick and it made me sad :(

Yeah, People shouldn't be writing bad things about her. She is a very nice reliable independent pretty fun funny aweunny (word we made up awesome and funny) girl. She was having fun. Were 11 we do crazy things at our age. She will get through this all of her friends love her too much ecpecially me. She also loves us too much to not get through it. Her Brother and sister Mathew and Ashley have been with her alot thru this. She has to get better for her friends. Ecspecially me... I don't know what I would do without her...

I'm alot better but i have 2 broken ribbs stitches in my head staples in my bk broken arm my balance is a lil off and my voice isn't tht strong but im home and im healing and i <3 all my fam and friendz!
