Lady Hounds Tennis Team Falls to Windsor

Rebuilding Healdsburg's Girls Team Defeated by League Leading Jaguars 0-7

Playing without their #2 player Marcella Passalacqua, Healdsburg's Girls Tennis team struggled against the league leading Windsor Tuesday afternoon at While the Lady Hounds stayed close in a couple of matches, they could not hold on for any wins, loosing 0-7 in the league match-up.  Windsor has won four of its last five matches.

With only three returning players from last year's varsity team, Healdsburg coach Christine Mooney said she considers this a rebuilding year.

"In that vein, there was a lot to be proud of in the girls' match," Mooney said. "Their understanding of tennis strategy and it's proper implementation has improved dramatically."
