Santa Rosa to Salinas a Long Way to Go to Get Arrested
A 24-year old Santa Rosa man posted an ad for teen sex on the Internet, and got a response. Guess who was waiting on the other end of the drive?
The Monterey County Sheriff’s Office released an arrest report today about an action early this morning in Salinas, at 1:51 a.m.
Members of their Special Enforcement Detail and Sexual Assault Felony Enforcement Team learned of a male advertising on an internet bulletin board for “High-School, Teen Girls”.
Posing as a 13-year-old girl from Salinas, deputies made online contact with the male, Bogdan Pavlov Trakov, 24, of Santa Rosa.

Trakov agreed to drive from his home in Santa Rosa to Salinas, almost 160 miles, to engage in lewd acts with whom he believed to be a 13-year-old girl. He agreed to meet the girl at a local business and then go to a local hotel, and to provide the minor with marijuana prior to engaging in sexual activity.
Trakov arrived at the agreed location near several fast-food restaurants at 1570 Constitution Blvd., Salinas. Deputy Bryan Hoskins reported that he was met by several male law enforcement officers, instead of the 13-year old girl he was expecting, and was taken into custody without incident.
