The Tile Heritage Foundation is a small member supported NPO agency in Sonoma County ( located in Healdsburg) (25 years old) with a broad reach ( nationally.) We are engaged in the protection and preservation of ceramic surfaces and their history in the US. As educators and historians we maintain collection as well as an all important archive and library. This is where we need a great deal of on-site volunteer assistance.
Tile Heritage Foundation - Healdsburg CA. We could really use some assistance! Archives & Library Volunteers - Tile Heritage Foundation archives, permanent collections, library and digital resources require hundreds of hours of management and maintenance every year to keep them active, accessible and useful. Volunteers would work in the management of library & archival files & data bases.. Volunteers with archiving experience are especially needed. However, willing volunteers without experience will be trained to manage specific tasks and should be willing to commit to volunteering at least two days a month.
