Free Youth Music Workshop Offered; Coincides with Healdsburg Jazz Festival

Two world-famous musicians will offer “COMMON GROUND”, an interactive music workshop for youth on Sunday, June 8 at the Healdsburg Raven Theater as part of the Healdsburg Jazz Festival which runs May 30 to June 8.

Parents, bring as many students as you want to spend time with jazz great Charles Lloyd on saxophone and legendary tabla player Zakir Hussain, Sunday morning June 8 at the Raven Theater in Healdsburg.

They will be joined by dancer Antonia Mennecola in what will be unique opportunity to be up close and personal with musicians of this caliber who have offered to share their love of music with the youth of our community.
Bring your young music lovers and their friends to this very special inspirational music workshop presented by the Healdsburg Jazz Festival and the City of Healdsburg.
This event is free to students in grades K-12, but must be reserved in advance by calling 707 433-4644, on Mondays to Fridays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Adults must bring at least one student. Seats are limited and must be reserved by phone order with a credit card. (Cancellations or changes accepted until June 4.) Reservations not used will be charged $10 per seat.
