CHASSA meeting on Tuesday. What did they do with your ideas?

1. Healdsburg City Council/Redevelopment Agency Meeting. On the agenda five proclamations including one in support of the 350 Home & Garden Challenge; also, “to consider Sonoma County Regional Parks Foundation’s request to allow consumption of alcohol at the Veteran’s Memorial Beach during the Healdsburg Water Carnival on July 23, 2011.” Healdsburg City Hall, 401 Grove St., 6:00pm

2.  “In the Abstract” is the new Healdsburg Center for the Arts opens this week. 130 Plaza St., open daily 1:00am – 5:00pm Artwalk first Friday of each month until 8:00pm

3. Central Healdsburg Ave. Special Study Area Committee to meet. On the agenda: “Discuss and refine Vision, Principles and Framework (revised based on 4/19 discussion)” Healdsburg City Hall, Council Chambers, 401 Grove St., 6:00pm

4. Healdsburg Farmers’ Market opening day.  Reduce your food miles by buying fresh, local produce, meats and vegetable starts.  Garlic, lettuces, herbs, salmon, beef and more will be available from area farmers and ranchers. Sat., May 7,  9am – 12noon, Parking lot at the corner of North St. and Vine/Grove intersection. 

5. The Breeding Birds of Healdsburg Ridge. From LandPaths website,Grab your binoculars and join us for a morning of bird-watching at the Healdsburg Ridge Open Space Preserve. We'll join resident expert Emily Heaton on an exploration of the breeding birds at Healdsburg Ridge.” Sat., May 7, 7:00 – 10:00am. Register here.
