1. Bale Grist Mill State Historic Park

Why go: The waterwheel captures your imagination and takes you back in time.
Pricing: Adult $3/Child $2 (Includes museum and park)
2. Bay Area Discovery Museum
Where/when: Fort Baker, 557 McReynolds Road, Sausalito Mon. – Fri. 9:00am – 4:00pm Sat. & Sun. 10:00am – 5:00pm.
Why go: For all the hands-on “stuff” and the exhibits, like “Lookout Cove.”
Pricing: $8.00 Children 1-17 years and seniors / $10.00 Adults (free for members and children under 1 year)
3. Relish Culinary Adventures Kids Cooking Class with the Culinary Dude, Scott Davis.
Where/when: 14 Matheson St., Sun., Mar. 6, 4:00 – 6:00pm
Why go: Where else can your children have fun, share food and incidentally cook better than their parents?

4. A Docent Led Tour of the Bodega Marine Laboratory
Where/when: 2099 Westside Rd. Bodega Bay, Fri., Mar. 4, 2:00pm – 4:00pm
Why go: The colorful creatures call from their aquarium displays

5. Family Nature Exploration at Healdsburg Ridge
Where/when: Fox Pond trailhead at the end of Arabian Way. Sun., Mar. 6 10:00am – 1:00pm
Why go: Because LandPaths is a great organization that helps kids of all ages have fun.

Note: Although it’s not an outing kind of event here’s piece of great news! Clay Grosskopf and are presenting a check to the School Garden Network of Sonoma County at 8:30am this morning at the pub in Healdsburg. These funds are from the Thank you, Bear Republic, for helping our schools and their gardens!
