Good News, Hand-Fan Fans! Museum Is Changing Exhibits & Open By Appointment

Tourists from Arizona planning to travel to Healdsburg to see the Healdsburg Hand Fan Museum, plus area locals and history buffs, will be happy to note the one-of-a-kind museum is undergoing an exhibit change and is very much alive and well!

"The Hand Fan Museum is currently doing some minor renovations, but open by appointment with the curator Pamela Sher," said museum operators.

If you would like an appointment to see the current exhibit, please e-mail pam4sher@gmail.com.

The museum will return to regular hours July 19 -- Wednesdays through Saturdays 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The museum boasts an impressive historic collection of some 3,000 hand fans, and has listings on such tourist sites as RoadsideAmerica.com and 101 Things To Do In The Wine Country,  and was listed as a must-see stop in The New York Times' "36 Hours in Sonoma County" article.
