Grateful Bed Garden Tour Features Healdsburg Gardens
Healdsburg will be highlighted in the free, self-guided tour of gardens in public areas around Sonoma County in the Grateful Bed Garden Tour.
The second-annual Grateful Bed Garden Tour is returning Saturday, Aug. 3 and it’s a great way for the community in Healdsburg to appreciate the beauty and originality of food gardens growing in public spaces.
The Grateful Bed is a garden competition for Sonoma County food gardens located in parks, community gardens, care centers and other public areas.
The garden tours are free to the public. However, donations can be made to the Sonoma County Regional Parks Foundation.

The tour places emphasis on the potential for food production, community building and natural beauty in publicly accessible garden beds.
Sonoma County Regional Parks, iGROW Sonoma and the Sonoma County Community Garden Network helped organize the event.

After visiting the different garden locations, participants are invited to vote for the garden they feel is worthy of the People’s Choice Award on Sonoma County Parks’ Facebook page.
The self-guided tours takes place Saturday, Aug. 3 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

- Badger Park Community Garden Plot #14, 750 Heron Dr., Healdsburg
