Healdsburg City Meetings and More

This week both the Healdsburg City Council and the Central Healdsburg Ave. Special Study Area will meet.

1. City Council/Redevelopment meeting Monday (tonight). On the agenda: “ Consider adopting Ordinance No. 1110 to repeal Ordinance No. 1101 and add a revised Municipal Code Chapter 15.16, Green Building Program, by adopting by reference Part 11 of the 2010 California Building Standards Code and amendments thereto (Building Official Ward).” Council Chambers,  401 Grove St., 6:00pm 

2. CHASSA Meeting (Central Healdsburg Ave. Special Study Area Committee) Tues., May 17. Under new business: A. Discuss build-out assumptions for traffic and infrastructure modeling; B. Clarify content of Central Healdsburg Avenue Plan; C. Discuss role of next Community Workshop 401 Grove. St., 6:00pm

Wednesday, May 18. On-site public information session, 2 to 4 p.m. at , 324 Center St. Public open house, 5:30 to 7 p.m., , 133 Matheson St.

4. Foss Creek Clean up, Sat., May 21. From Riverkeeper’s website: “Riverkeeper provides tools, gloves and equipment and volunteers need to wear sturdy shoes and long pants.” Meet at the Cerri Building parking lot (Purity Lot at 3) North St. 8:30 – 11:30am.

5. Solar power and roses—what a combo!  Russian River Rose Company is holding a one-day “Special Dedication and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony by our own 4th District County Supervisor, Mike McGuire at 10:30 am. The first 150 people who attend will receive a FREE ‘Sunflower Solar Power Plant’!”
