Is This Road Out of Healdsburg the 'Best Wine Country Back Road'?
A local wine blog praises the trip for its views and proximity to numerous wineries.
Sonoma County certainly has no shortage of scenic views, but is it possible to choose a "best" drive around the area?
Local blog Wine Country Getaways has named the above route as one of the best.
"This drive will take you through breathtaking views of vineyards, Redwood trees, barns, and historic wineries," the blog says.
It starts at Healdsburg Plaza and ends in the town of Guerneville, traveling along Westside Road. The route makes stops at Mill Creek Vineyards & Winery, Hop Kiln Winery, Korbel Champagne Cellars and more.
