From tribute music to a solidarity vigil, from jazz to barrel tasting here are some places to go if you just want to get out.

1. Classic Concert by Ancient Mariner (An Iron Maiden tribute band)

Why Go: The nostalgia and there are two other tribute bands as well

2. Solidarity Vigil
Where/When: Santa Rosa Courthouse Square Fri., Mar. 4 6:00 – 8:00pm
Why Go: Show solidarity for Wisconsin workers
Pricing: Free
3. Face, Form and Figure Artist’s Reception
Where/When: Healdsburg Center for the Arts, 130 Plaza St. Fri., Mar. 4, 5:00 – 7:00pm
Why Go: For a peek into the local arts scene and what our artists are creating.

4. Live Jazz with Susan Sutton and Bill Fouty – Piano and Acoustic Bass
Where/When: Hotel Healdsburg, 25 Matheson St., Fridays 7:30 – 11:00pm
Why Go: To get jazzed leading up to the Healdsburg Jazz Festival
Pricing: No cover
5. Russian River Wine Road Barrel Tasting
Where/When: More than 100 wineries; Mar., 4-6 11:00am -- 4:00pm
Why Go: To get bitten by the “wine futures” bug
Pricing: $30/person/weekend
