Spring is On the Way, and So's the Rain

Longer days are ahead, though Healdsburg has had no shortage of sunshine this winter. But don't be surprised by a few sprinkles tonight.

It may be hard to believe, but Spring hasn't quite started.

Wednesday marks the vernal equinox in the northern hemisphere and the first official day of Spring.

Of course, Healdsburg has already logged plenty of spring-like, sunshine-filled days in 2013. The mild winter has resulted in below-normal rainfall and bright bursts of yellow daffodil blossoms.

But there's a chance of a rain starting Tuesday afternoon, according to AccuWeather.com, and some cloudy days at the end of the month. Check out the complete extended forecast here.

The Farmer's Almanac is predicting generally pleasant, spring weather across California in the coming months, with a chance of showers the first and third weeks of April.

The equinox means more daylight, warmer temperatures and the rebirth of flora and fauna, according to The Old Farmer’s Almanac. The word equinox is derived from the Latin words meaning “equal night,” according to the almanac. Days and nights are approximately equal, and the sun rises and sets due east and west.

Spring also means Easter is right around the corner (March 31) and vegetable garden-planting time has almost arrived.

Spring will last until June 21, and summer will carry on until the autumnal equinox on Sept. 22 at 4:44 p.m, according to the U.S. Naval Observatory.

These offices look great! I would love to have taken a look, but I don't live close enough to theRead More area. I was looking for spaces out in Toronto, and started looking at for office space for rent via http://www.theprofessionalcentre.com. But, again, your spaces look really nice, affordable, and would have done the job well. :)
