The Second Annual 'Sonoma County Restaurant Week' is Coming Up.

Celebrate Sonoma County farmer produce and fine wines during 'Sonoma County Restaurant Week' Feb. 21-27.

Bring on your appetite for local and delicious!  Celebrate the second annual Sonoma County Restaurant Week from Feb. 21 - 27.

Restaurant Week presents seven days of fine dining with prix-fixe menus ($19, $29, $39) for each three-course meal that includes an appetizer, entrée and dessert.

Touted as “Sonoma County’s most delicious week of the year” by the Sonoma County Economic Development Board, it provides a boost to the local economy and a boon to those who have cut back on restaurant spending.

With local, farm fresh foods on the menus for the week, farmers too, expect to get a bump in revenues. Local wineries promise the crowning touch to the dining experience with paired wines in some locations.

“’The strong collaboration among Sonoma County restaurants, visitor centers, city chambers of commerce, the Sonoma County Tourism Bureau and the Economic Development Board made it more successful than we ever dreamed it could be,’ said Sonoma County Supervisor Valerie Brown,” according to one press release.

Tickets or passes are not needed for the dinners.  Just find a participating restaurant on the list and make reservations.

The Sonoma County Restaurant Week website recommends making reservations a week to ten days in advance. Restaurant Week is a dinner-only promotion; however, some restaurants may offer the menus during lunch as well.

More than 80 fine Sonoma County eateries are participating. Nine Healdsburg restaurants are committed to the event, including Bear Republic Brewing, Barndiva, Dry Creek Kitchen and Zin along with five others.
