What’s Up on March 1?

An art show, a musical benefit and a Special Study Area meeting, that's what's up!

1. Central Healdsburg Ave. Special Study Area Committee meeting tonight. On the agenda under New Business, “Community Forum IV – Making Sustainable Neighborhoods.” Mar. 15, will mark the first Community Workshop, according to the myHBG.tv website. Healdsburg City Council Chambers, 401 Grove St., 6:00pm

2. Have you checked out the Youth Arts Balcony at the Healdsburg Center for the ArtsShowing now are the works of Healdsburg and Cloverdale High School art students. 130 Plaza St. Open daily 11:00am – 5:00pm

3. Also at the Healdsburg Center for the Arts—the opening of Figure, Face and FormStarts Wed., Mar. 2.  See above for more information. Linda Shea is the show chairwoman.

4. Funk for Life-a benefit for the Healdsburg Boys and Girls Club—at the Raven Performing Arts Theater. From the Chamber’s website: Maxx Cabello Jr. Funk Revival Orchestra plus Speakeasy Saints. A portion of the proceeds benefit the Healdsburg Boys and Girls Club. Purchase tickets at The Last Record Store in Santa Rosa, or at Costeaux French Bakery in Healdsburg.” Doors open at 5:00pm; show begins 5:30pm. $12/advance $15/door (Must be 21 or over to attend.)  115 North St. 395-0124
