Healdsburg High School Latino Students partner with the Healdsburg Museum in mounting "El Dia de lost Muertos ( Day of the Dead) Exhibit

Celebrated yearly in Mexico and South America on the Christian holy days of All Saints Day and All Souls Day (November 1 and 2), El Día de los Muertos is a holiday for remembering and honoring those that have passed on.

For many Latinos, the celebration of the Day of the Dead is part of the cycle of life. The spirits of the dead are believed to return to their families and communities once a year during the celebration to renew the bonds of kinship, friendship and devotion.

The Healdsburg Museum extends their gratitude to the Latino students of Healdsburg High School for their outstanding work in creating exhibits portraying this holiday.
