Healdsburg Philharmonia's Mostly Mozart!

The Raven Performing Arts Theater's chamber music group, Philharmonia Healdsburg, has announced its first season. Conducted by Les Pfutzenreuter, who has served as music director of the Ukiah Symphony for more than 20 years, Healdsburg Philharmonia's Mostly Mozart! concerts will be performed on Saturday, November 19th at 8 p.m., and Sunday, November 20th at 2 p.m., and will feature Rebecca Lynn Pollock Ayres on flute and Dan Levitan on harp.Music includes the Simple Symphony, Op. 4 (Benjamini Britten, 1913-1976); Concerto for Harp, flute and Orchestra in C Major, K. 299 (W.A. Mozart, 1756-1791), and Symphony in G Minor, K. 550 (W.A. Mozart, 1756‑1791).

Advance tickets are available at Copperfield’s Books in Healdsburg and Santa Rosa, Pages on the Green in Windsor, and through Raven Performing Arts Theater at www.raventheater.org (convenience fee applies online) or at 707.433.6335.  Ticket prices are $25 for adults; $10 for students. Season tickets are also available at the website. Remaining performances are Music for the Young at Heart: Prokofiev's classical symphony Peter and the Wolf, and Haydn's Trumpet concerto, featuring James Rodseth on trumpet; and The Heroic and the Sublime: Mendelssohn's Violin concerto, Beethoven's Symphony No. 3 Eroica and Symphony No. 5 in C minor.

About RPAT: Healdsburg Performing Arts Theater was organized in 2001 to raise funds to purchase the historic Raven movie theater and convert the space into a community resource as a performing arts center. Operating under the name Raven Performing Arts Theater, the theater now hosts community and professional music and dance groups, theater productions, uncommon cinema, and business meetings and events.  The Raven family of performers includes Raven Players, who produce plays and musicals, and Philharmonia Healdsburg, a classical music group with nearly 40 musicians
