Healdsburg Exhibit Featuring Internationally Known Artist

A Healdsburg Galley will showcase the work of an internationally known artist at an exhibit that starts later this month.

The works of Oakland-based Jann Nunn will be displayed at Hammerfriar Gallery and Framing.

Nunn's Sculpture and Works on Paper and Juried Show will be on display from Aug. 27 to Oct. 6. A reception will be held Sept. 14 from 6 to 9 p.m.

Nunn's work has appeared at Greenwich Citizen’s Gallery in London, the Korean Culture and Art Center Foundation in Seoul, the Kunsthalle Düsseldorf Germany, and ABC NoRio in New York City.

Nunn's central piece is Arc of the Atlas, a 10-foot tall stack of paper carved into a spinal form capped at either end with cast bronze representing the atlas (first vertebrae) and the sacrum at the base.
