Healdsburg Weekend Planner July 23-24

Are you looking for something to do this weekend? Check out some of the things on the Healdsburg Calendar and see if there's something for you.

Saturday:

Sonoma County Regional Parks proudly presents the re-creation of the historic at n Healdsburg. The day begins at 11am as the iconic White Swan float comes down the followed by 24 more floats. 

The day will include live music, food vendors, old –time activities such as the ‘Whiskeroo’ and Period Bathing Suit Contest. There will be children’s activities, water games as well as information and sales booths from the Carnival Sponsors.  Join the fun and be part of this great day.  Proceeds will benefit the installation of Veterans Memorial Beach Dam which has served as the community “swimming pool” on the Russian River for over 100 years in Healdsburg.

If you go: Make sure to get to Veterans Memorial Beach before 11 a.m. to get a great view of the White Swan Float.  Veterans Memorial Beach is at 13839 Healdsburg Ave in Healdsburg.

The take on the Napa Knights today!  Come on by and cheer them on!

If you go: Admission is $5 for adults and $2 for kids. is at 515 Piper St. in Healdsburg.

 

Saturday:

Celebrate the Dog Days of Summer and National Hot Dog Month at .  Dance to the rockin' blues of the Hellhounds!  There’s Chicago style hot dogs and goodie bags donated by the Healdsburg Dog House for your canine companions.  Dress up your pet for our costume contest - winner goes home with a prize.

If you go: Admission is $20 per person and includes a complimentary wine tasting.  Hot dogs are free for our Wine Club Members.  A portion of the proceeds will benefit the . The fun is from noon to 4 p.m. at Alderbrook Winery, 2306 Magnolia Drive in Healdsburg.

 

Sunday:

The 4th Annual Antique and Collectible Show on the Windsor Town Green in Old Downtown Windsor goes on today. Pre-1972 antiques and collectibles will fill the area under the cool Sycamore Trees and the Arbor of the Windsor Town Green. An appraiser, specializing in American Indian Art and all Antiques will be on site as well as dealers who specialize in repairing glass, paper, paintings, and other vintage items. Adjacent to the Show is the Sunday Windsor Certified Farmers Market starting at 10:00. They will be holding their 9th Annual Zucchini Blossom Festival that includes fun games, zucchini car races, great street food, great yummy local produce, and an arts and crafts show.

If you go: This free event is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the Windsor Green in Old Downtown Windsor (stay straight on Windsor River Road and turn right on Market Street).
