Includes a full-length production of Les Misérables.

The Raven Players, the resident performing group of the has just cemented its lineup of six plays for the 2013-2014 season. The season begins in late summer, and dates have not yet been set.

The Raven Players have a recent history of acquiring the rights to plays that are particularly difficult for community theaters to get (Rent in 2010 and Chicago in 2011) and this new season again includes one of these rare opportunities.

“We are the first North Bay community theater to be granted the licensing to the full-length version of Les Misérables," said Raven Players president John DeGaetano. "We’re very excited about this opportunity, and to share the news about the entire season.

"We’ll be celebrating our 10th season of wonderful community theater with our cast, crew, season subscribers, volunteers, and North Bay theater goers,”  DeGaetano said.

The complete lineup for the 2013-2014 season includes:

  • Monique – Based on the film classic Diabolique, this rarely seen play combines mystery with terrifying suspense.
  • Don’t Drink the Water – This early Woody Allen farce focuses on an American tourist, his wife, and daughter, who seek refuge in the American Embassy behind the Iron Curtain police suspect them of spying.
