UPDATE: Show us your red, white and blue, Healdsburg!

Uncle Sam visits house on Johnson Street; also Jimtown Store is READY! What are your July 4th traditions? Post your photos, thoughts and memories here?

What's your favorite part of the Fourth of July?

Karen Neuberger of Healdsburg, who sent in some photos of July 4th decorations, said she's "turning our Healdsburg home into Camp Lake Wine.begon," she writes."And I'm the camp director."

Neuberger's plans for the Fourth of July at "Camp Lake Wine.begon"?

"Friends from Marin staying the weekend for activities such as picnic at Lake Sonoma, canoe trip on the river, many great dinners and of course the fireworks," Neuberger says.  "Christmas lights have turned into 4th celebration around pool and olive grove."

How about you? Do you decorate, throw parties, Do you see friends or family -- or both?

of July 4th activities around Healdsburg and Sonoma County.

Or do you just go out to the Healdsburg Plaza or to a park and enjoy Sonoma County in the summer?

Jay and Lynne Rosenthal started out with two banners at their front door 14 years ago. Now, the whole house, on Piper Street near the downtown area, is a red, white and blue showplace.

"We put them up on Saturday (June 25)," Jay Rosenthal said. "We do the Fourth and we do Halloween."

How about you? Are you ready for July 4th in Healdsburg? Tell us about it!

Oh, how fun! I decorated my bike almost exactly like that way back in the '70s!
