Are you looking for something nearby to do this Fourth of July weekend? Check out some of the things on the Healdsburg Calendar and see if there's something for you.

Saturday:

Grab a picnic and come check Sonoma County's coolest Rockabilly/Swing/Bluegrass Band, Rovetti and the Meatballs at . These guys definitely know how to play the fiddle. To celebrate the 4th of July weekend in style, there will be “All Americana” games on the back lawn and surprises too!

If you go: Ticket price is $10 per person for Wine Club members, $15 for guests and includes admission to the event and complimentary wine tasting in our tasting room.  Please call Joanna at 707.433.5987 x4210 or email donatij@alderbrook.com to purchase your tickets. Zin Day is from noon to 5 p.m. at , 2306 Magnolia Drive in Healdsburg.

Windsor celebrates Independence Day a little early with two great parties; one at Keiser Park and the other at the Town Green. Festivities include food, wine and beer booths as well as a “kids zone” containing trains, bouncy houses and obstacle courses. This year, the Sonoma County Fair brings the "Traveling Fair" honoring the 75th Anniversary of the Sonoma County Fair. Live entertainment includes Pride and Joy, JD Bauman & The Old Boot Band and more. The Town Green celebration begins at 5 pm with even more entertainment, including patriotic songs sung by a local choir, jump houses, beer and wine booths. Get ready for the fireworks and dance to the tunes of the Edwin Brothers Band and Windsor Bloco. The fireworks are set to take off at 9:30 p.m. from Keiser Park. Kaboom!

If you go: The festivities begin at 4 p.m. with the fireworks set to go at 9:30 pm from Keiser Park.  Remember to bring a blanket or chair. A $3 donation is appreciated. Keiser Park is at 700 Windsor River Road and the Town Green is at 701 McLelland Drive in Windsor.

 

Monday:

Healdsburg’s Boy Scout Troop 21 proudly invites the public to begin celebrating Independence Day bright and early with their annual 4th of July Pancake Breakfast. The menu will feature all-you-can eat pancakes, sliced ham, eggs, fruit cocktail, orange juice, and coffee. Tickets are $7 Adult and $4 Children and can be purchased at Copperfield’s Bookstore on the town plaza, from any Troop 21 Boy Scout, or at the Villa on the 4th.

If you go: Tickets are $7 for adults and $4 for kids. This popular tradition take places 7 a.m. to noon at the , 1248 North Fitch Mountain Road in Healdsburg.

 

Monday:

Local veterans form the American Legion - Sotoyome Post 111 present their 21st annual fireworks show for the Healdsburg community. Fireworks start approximately at 9:30 pm (right around dusk).

If you go: Grab your chairs and head on over for the fireworks at ’s athletic field, 1024 Prince Street in Healdsburg.
