Baci is the best Italian Restaurant in Healdsburg. Always a wide variety of wonderful food and local small wineries are represented. Great service. Deserts to die for!!!

While we like Scopa a lot, Baci is our hands down favorite. Great food, terrific service, and reasonably priced local wines. What more can we ask!

Scopa by far.... it's hilarious that Giorgio's is even in the running!

Exceptional Italian food, a wide variety of reasonably priced wines and excellent service are a given at Baci's. The frosting on the cake is that the owners, Shari and Lisbeth, make a concerted effort to insure that their guests "feel at home" by frequently visiting their dining tables. In my view, that sincere and consistent effort by the owners to insure customer satisfaction raises a great restaurant to the level of a superb restaurant.

BACI is my pick. The food is wonderful the service top notch and I always leave with a smile on my face. The hostess always remembers us, which makes us feel like part of their family. I recommend BACI to all of my friends.

I was so excited when they opened a classic Italian Resturant and I still am. Pasta is not really my thing. Everything else on the menu is and fabulous.

Scopa by a mile.

Both a real good restaurants, but I prefer Baci by far. Scopa has a few things I like on their limited menu (Noni's Chicken), but the place is so claustrophobic and cramped. I've never met the owners. At Baci, we are greeted by the delightful owners without fail, love many of the items on their generous menu, and always feel at home with many locals present any night of the week. Their Ossobuco is to die for, as is their Crab Ciopino, when in season. Anything with "Salsiccia" in the name is worth ordering, especially the Rigatoni. It's a great menu.

For the best, one needs to go a bit north to Geyserville where you have your choice of Catelli's, Diavola or Rustic.

Baci for me hands down! Always great service, excellent food with different specials every week to keep things interesting! An awesome wine list with the best wine prices I have seen in a restaurant!

Love Baci but Scopa wins hands down!

Scopa! No one even comes close to the quality of Ari's amazingly delicious food!

Scopa! Great seasonal food; great wine list (they've got the '02 Hamel Syrah!!!); and I love the Wednesday night winemaker-waiter dinners. My favorite dishes are the burrata (oops, I just drooled a little while typing), the seasonal budinos (a savory flan-like dish), nonna's chicken, and the sugo calabrase. I need to go make reservations now...

Scopa is simply peerless -for Italian food or ANY food
Dave Huebel March 01, 2012 at 02:25 AM
Scopa! Ari and Dawnelise are extremely welcoming even if Ari is in the kitchen making it all happen!

Love Love Love Baci ! I feel welcome every time I go. I feel like part of their family. Food - always wonderful ! Service--spot on even with a big group. Great wine list. Great room for large parties. We started dining at Baci a few months after they opened and have loved it from them very first bite. The owners are wonderful and very accommodating. Been to Scopa on a girls night out very bad experience;none of the six of us will go back.

Teresa LOVE Baci! i went to thier Persian night and it was some of the best I have had, and I cook Persian food. Their everyday menu is just great. I agreee with many of the comments; they make you feel like you are one of the group. The owner/chef and owner/hostest are wonderful and make you feel like you are coming home for dinner.

Diana Blakeley Definately BACI....great service, quality fresh produce and meats all cooked to perfection. They have a wide variety of choices and specials in addition to great authenic Italian fare and woodfired pizzas. They accomodate special requests such as "gluten free" and "vegan". They have the best deserts in town...the Spumoni is the best I've eaten. The wine list is excellent and so well priced. I've often had a good bottle of wine for $25.00-$30.00. If you are visiting the area eating at BACI is a must. I ate at Scopa twice and was not impressed and do not plan to ever go back.

BACI rocks! One of the best restaurants ANYWHERE, not just Healdsburg! Great, authentic Italian food, reasonable prices & terrific wine list!
Elizabeth March 02, 2012 at 04:53 AM
Baci is fabulous! The food is authentic Italian and is to die for. Baci's menu is large and varied - covering all price points. They have a nice wine list promoting small local wineries - that can be purchased by the glass. I have tried most of the pastas, appetizers and main courses. They are delicious, delectable and consistent. The service is excellent. The staff is warm, welcoming and professional. Great restaurant with good food, what else can you ask for?
