Downtown Healdsburg Salon to Hold Grand Opening Saturday
Wash & Brushup Co. opened earlier this year in downtown Healdsburg.
A hair salon that opened this spring in Healdsburg will celebrate its grand opening this weekend.
Wash & Brushup Co., which calls itself "a modern hairdressing company with an old-world emphasis on service and quality," will hold a grand opening from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday.
It's located in the historic John Daly Building at 340 Healdsburg Ave., which it rebuilt in a period style using reclaimed wood.
During Saturday's grand opening, wine will be served, prizes will be raffled off, and those who bring in a new, packaged toy worth $5 to $10 will have a chance to win one of 10 haircut packages. The toys will be donated to Healdsburg Shared Ministries, according to a flier for the event.
