Beginning May 25th, SIMI Winery’s seasonal Landslide Terazzo Pizza Café opens its doors once again on Friday and Saturday afternoons, serving visitors delicious pizza throughout the summer months. From May through mid-October the café will be open Fridays for take-out or dining-on-the-deck, and Saturdays with table service available on the Landslide Terrace.
Showcasing recipes from SIMI’s kitchen, this summer’s menu will include: Caesar Salad, Margarita Pizza, Parma Pizza, Forage Mushroom Pizza with mixed mushrooms and house-made sausage, plus special vegetarian and meat pizzas each weekend!
SIMI wines by the glass and bottle can be purchased inside the tasting room for enjoyment with the meal. Take a step back into the winery’s rich history and try the new release of SIMI’s wine growler, Maiale Cieco. Filled with two liters of SIMI’s red blended wine, the growler commemorates SIMI’s history as one of the few wineries to have remained operational during the Prohibition Era and celebrates the lift of Prohibition in December 1933. Also perfect for warm weather sipping and dining alfresco, pick up a bottle of bright and refreshing SIMI Sauvignon Blanc, now available in easy to open screw cap!
In keeping with its history and tradition, Healdsburg’s SIMI Winery continues to cultivate its on-site vegetable and herb garden as a source of produce for the winery’s chef. Just as SIMI’s founders began their careers in the late nineteenth century by growing and selling vegetables, SIMI continues to honor this history, offering visitors artisanal pizzas topped with fresh farm-to-table ingredients to be enjoyed with its exceptional wines.
SIMI’s Landslide Terazzo Pizza Café is open for to-go purchases on Fridays from 12:00 to 6:00 pm and on Saturdays from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm, May through mid-October.
