First 'Breezehouse' Prefab Home Installed in Healdsburg

Video of Blu Homes model, installed in one day.

Prefab homebuilder Blu Homes, which last year has put together a video of their first 'Breezehouse' installed in Healdsburg Jan. 18.

A number of Sonoma County families are turning to their homes because they are faster to build and less costly, according to Blu Homes spokeswoman Dana Smith.

Steve and Jo Cooper of Healdsburg say in the video that they bought their land in July 2011 and, in the video, were able to sight their home roughly six months later in January 2012.

According to the video, the Cooper's home is the 10th Blu Home prefab in "Sonoma Wine Country."
