Free Small Business Expos In Santa Rosa

In an effort to support small businesses, Santa Rosa Plaza and Coddingtown Mall offer Small Business Expos

 

Two events aim to help local entrepenuers launch or grow their own small businesses.

Santa Rosa Plaza and Coddingtown Mall will host two free Small Business Expos in an "effort to support local entrepreneurs by connecting them with resources to help build their businesses."

The first Expo will be held this Saturday, June 23, at the Santa Rosa Plaza. The second will be held at the Coddingtown Mall on June 30. Both Expos will run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Speakers and events include experts in the field of small business development, entrepreneurship and franchising. Entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to connect with resource organizations that specialize in helping people launch and grow small businesses.

Scheduled presentations include: 

10 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.: FranNet Presents "Be Your Own Boss"
11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.: FranNet Franchise Panel Q&A
1 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.: SCORE presents "ABC's of Business Start-ups & What Does it Take to be an Entreprenuer?"
2:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.: SBDC presents "Show me the Money: Loan Sourcing in Tough Times”
3:30 p.m.- 4:30 p.m.: Michael Rice from Circle Bank presents "SBA Financing"
4:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.: Hilliard Management Group presents "Quickbooks"

Local representatives from Simon Property Group will be on hand to answer questions about the benefits of operating a business at the two centers. Santa Rosa Plaza and Coddingtown Mall are both premier shopping destinations in the North Bay region.
