Hammerfriar Owner Receives "Boho Award"

Jill Plamann, owner of the Healdsburg gallery, feted by North Bay Bohemian.

 

Jill Plamann, owner of the Hammerfriar frame shop and art gallery in Healdsburg, has won a "Boho Award" in the 15th annual awards program run by North Bay Bohemian newspaper.

According to the Bohemian, Plamann, who lives in Windsor, avoids the traditional "vineyard art" paintings found in many Wine Country galleries and instead seeks out conceptual creations and installations.

Plamann received her award at a ceremony Wednesday night in Santa Rosa.
