After serving as i has been hired to a permanent position as executive director of the Healdsburg Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau.
“The executive committee has been very impressed with Carla’s abilities to tackle challenges “head-on” and with her relationships with city staff as well as the business community at large,” said Bob Fraser, chair of the Chamber's board of directors.
"After observing Carla’s performance over the past three months, the executive committee felt strongly in offering their recommendation to the board to offer Carla the permanent position," Fraser said.
Howell stepped in this summer to replacewho left to start a consulting business.
Howell has an extensive background in both public and private business and governmental posts.
