Well, it's here again. The second annual "Dancing With the Stars at the Raven" debuts Friday -- for two nights this year instead of the one night last year.

It's your chance to see perform two choregraphed dances with North Bay dance professional partners.

"I've been practicing every day, sometimes twice a day," said Healdsburg City Councilman Tom Chambers, who was just re-elected Tuesday to another four-year term in office. "I've even videotaped my routines so I can see how I'm doing."

Chambers said he will dance a West Coast Swing number and a Nightclub Two-Step routine -- both choreographed by his professional partner Janelle Guido.

All proceeds from ticket sales and from @$1 votes for your favorite pair go to support operations at the venerable Raven Performing Arts Theater in Healdsburg.

"Each night will be a completely different show," said Vera Harvey, co-producer with Joe Gellura. In addition to the dance contest, there will be multiple dance performances and "surprises," Harvey said.

Saturday night's show, and the "star party" earlier Saturday at Costeaux French Bakery, are both sold out.

Some tickets are still available for Friday night's show. To purchase tickets and chose a reserved seat, go to www.raventheater.org.
