Forget Black Friday. This Year, It's All About Small Business Saturday

Small businesses are the engine of America's economy. Tell us what you love about shopping small.

It's nearly Black Friday, the day consumers race to stores to score major deals on merchandise.

But starting last year, a new, more local concept was born: Small Business Saturday, an effort to eschew big retailers in favor of stocking up on holiday gifts and other items with local merchants.

Or, you could do the local version of Black Friday, sponsored by the Healdsburg Chamber of Commerce.

It's called "Black Friday Through Cyber Monday" and it's part of the Healdsburg Downtown Holiday Party.

In fact, the Healdsburg Chamber has so many ways to shop and celebrate local over the holidays, they've created a special page in their calendar for them. Click here to see it.
