SHED 'In the Home Stretch'

February move-in planned; opening in March.

 

Healdsburg's newest cafe/specialty market/meeting place, is almost ready for public consumption, its owners say.

for most of the past year.  Cindy Daniel, co-owner, said the fruits of that labor will be seen very soon.

"We are in the home stretch with the building, and we plan to be moved in by end of February," Daniel said last week. "If all goes as hoped, we'll open for business in March."

Staffing up continues, she added.  In addition to hiring a GM and chef late last year, SHED has now hired a sous chef, a pastry chef, a larderer ("How do you like that word?" Daniel said), a fermentation bar host, and an events coordinator.

"We are building an awesome team of friendly, enthusiastic folks!," Daniel added.
