The centerpiece of the second story will be a 1,400-square-foot room designed for public meetings, private parties and community events such as art, film, music – and workshops on food crafts and rural traditions.
Daniel said SHED will have many green features, including natural cooling, photovoltaic cells, a rain catchment system, natural lighting, recycling and composting.
A rain garden, planted with native riparian plants, will purify rainfall from the roof before the water enters Foss Creek, located on the western side of SHED.
