Spa Dolce Healdsburg Makes 'Fodor's Choice' 2013 List

Travelers to Sonoma County have a new place to include on their to-do lists.

Spa Dolce has been awarded a Fodor's Choice 2013 distinction from the makers of the popular travel guidebooks. It's the only spa in town to get the nod from Fodor's, and appears on the Fodor's Choice list among Healdsburg notables like Spoonbar, Copain Wines, Willi's Seafood and Raw Bar, Bear Republic Brewing Company and more.

"Owner Ines von Majthenyi Scherrer has a good local rep, having run a popular nearby spa before opening this stylish facility just off Healdsburg Plaza," Fodor's says in its review of Spa Dolce. "Many guests come just for the facials, which range from a straightforward cleansing to an anti-aging peel."

Scherrer said in a press release she's pleased to have earned the distinction.

"We feel it validates our passion for outstanding service and reinforces our position as Healdsburg’s premier day spa," a press release quoted Scherrer as saying.

Spa Dolce is located at 250 Center St.
