Sunset Mixer at the Shed
The Shed has been opening all week, but the party was last night.
About 200 invited guests showed up at the new Shed, the North St. culinary center around sunset to explore its products, sample its foods and drinks, investigate its decks and the great “Grange” hall upstairs, and in general give the place a Healdsburg Hello.
The sleek, modernistic design is heavily Danish is its use of steel, glass and light woods. Even a flour mill visible behind a glass door was made out of wood, aside from its hidden electric motor and steel blades (one would assume).

Intelligently crafted garden implements were displayed like art objects, and the dairy case was full of local, organic goods you will probably few other places in Sonoma County.
Peruse these pictures, and imagine attending an event at the Grange, having a lunch from the wood-fired oven, or bringing relatives to the newest place in town. For more information, visit healdsburgshed.com.
