Healdsburg & Sonoma County Charities Receive $175K from Summit State Bank

Summit State Bank  -- through its Nonprofit Partner Donation Program -- delivered 129 donation checks so far this year totaling more than $175,000 to charitable organizations in Healdsburg, Petaluma and throughout Sonoma County.  

Summit’s Nonprofit Partner Donation Program gives an automatic annual cash donation to its nonprofit customers based on average annual account balances.

“The guaranteed level of support to our customers through our Nonprofit Partner Donation Program is just part of our commitment to our community. This time of year is particularly rewarding when we have the opportunity to make meaningful donations – and this year a record number – to important Sonoma County organizations,” said Tom Duryea, president and CEO of Summit State Bank. 

“We are thrilled to see this program grow substantially every year as part of our commitment to community giving," he said. "This year we provided $175,000 which is up from $101,000 in 2012 and $43,000 in 2011."
