A woman died at Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital after she was hit by
a pickup truck while crossing a Cloverdale street in a crosswalk on Sunday
night, police said.

Police identified the victim as 68-year-old Maria Ponce, of Cloverdale.

The collision was reported at 9:35 p.m. at the intersection of
South Cloverdale Boulevard and Healdsburg Avenue. Cloverdale Fire Department personnel were tending to the woman when police arrived.
