Healdsburg Flight School Application Rejected At Meeting
On a 4-3 vote, the Healdsburg Transportation Commission rejected an application for a flight school at the Healdsburg Municipal Airport.
The Healdsburg Transportation Commission met on Wednesday evening to vote on an application for a flight school to be established at the Healdsburg Municipal Airport.
The 4-3 vote was in favor of rejecting the application, however, the vote was only advisory as the Healdsburg City Council is still expected to make the final decision at a later date.
According to a report in the Press Democrat, neighbors of the Healdsburg Municipal Airport report experiencing loud noises from aircrafts and low flying planes.
