Healdsburg-area youth will partner with local seniors Tuesday at "Tomorrow's Leaders Today," an event at the Healdsburg Day Program housed at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Healdsburg.
"We are one of the Day Program sites for the Council on Aging in Sonoma County," said Karen Kleist, program site manager. "A Senior Day program provides frail seniors with small supportive environment where they can pursue life interest thorough daily activities."
Kleist said "Tomorrow’s Leaders Today" runs from 10:30 a.m. to 12:10 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 13, at the church site.
"Our program is a part of their Human Service Day," Kleist said. " It is an opportunity for the youth of tomorrow to have hands on experience working in their community."
