After-Party Features Healdsburg High School Jazz Band at Costeaux

Eight students at Healdsburg High School form the HHS Jazz Band, and once again they’ll bring their sound to the stage for the Celebration After-Party on Feb. 26, part of the Healdsburg Jazz Festival's "Jazz on the Menu" event.

Under the direction of Lorca Hart, the septet is comprised of all classes, but for about half of them it will be one of their last opportunities to play in public for friends and family. What better venue than Costeaux French Bakery at the Jazz on the Menu After-Party?

This year’ s band includes (students from left): Noah Foley-Beining - bass; John Dalton-Ballard - drums; Cristian Guerrero - trumpet; Chris O'Connor - clarinet, alto-sax, flute; Millie Unti - tenor sax; Esther Unti - trombone;  and Daniel Elizalde - guitar.

Show up for the After-Party at Costeaux and listen to these talented students prove that jazz is alive in Healdsburg! They'll open for the eclectic George Marsh Quintet, another great night of fine music for a good cause.

Tickets are only $15 for the After-Party, the social-musical-educational event of the season. Tickets available online or at the door (only if available).
