If you love nature, kids and being outside, come
out to Bouverie Preserve on August 14 or August 21 to learn about its award-winning
docent training program that starts in September.
The August information days begin with a brief
overview of the program and end with small groups heading out on the trail for
a short (1 1/2 hour) hike, led by seasoned Bouverie Docents.
Trained docents visit Sonoma & Napa elementary
schools and lead small groups of students on trails at the 525-acre Bouverie Preserve.
Docents teach kids about birds, amphibians, plants and more.
