Dr. Simone Cinotto, professor at the University of Gastronomic Studies, is bringing 10 university students for a Northern California study trip. His visit will be punctuated with a dinner and book discussion on Friday, February 15, 2013, at Relish Culinary Adventures in Healdsburg. The casual family-style dinner will start at 5:30 pm and features students talking about their areas of study at the university. At 7:30 pm, Dr. Cinotto will give a talk about his book Soft Soil, Black Grapes: The Birth of Italian Winemaking in California, including talk about his use of the Sonoma County Wine Library for research.
This event is open to the public. Dinner is $20, BYOB.
The book discussion is free of charge but seating is only guaranteed for those attending the dinner.
