Healdsburg Literary Guild's Poetry Valentine

February: short month, lots to do!

The Healdsburg Literary Guild invites you to an afternoon of love poetry and chocolates.

This is the annual Poetry Valentine from the Guild to the community.  It is free and open to the public.   This year we will be featuring the works of 20 poets whose poems were chosen from among the nearly 100 submitted to the Open Call for love poems earlier this year.

The program, titled Let Me Count the Ways includes romantic poems and sweet poems and angry poems, those expressing love of parents, of sisters, of lovers, of long-time partners, and the of newly befriended. Come help us count the ways.

The chosen poems will appear in a chapbook also titled Let Me Count the Ways, published by the Guild in a limited edition, and available for purchase at the event.   There will be no open mic at the Poetry Valentine.
