IMAGINE- The John Lennon Lyrics Collection
Opening Reception Saturday December 8th 6 – 9 PM
This unique exhibit contains original archive albums and photos paired with estate limited editions of John Lennon’s original song manuscripts. Included in the exhibit are John’s most memorable songs from the Beatles’ years including Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds, Revolution, Nowhere Man, Day Tripper and many more. The majority of these songs were on the Beatles’ famous White Album as well as Yesterday and Today and Sergeant Pepper. Originally released in 1995 by Yoko Ono and Bag One, the lyrics were originally packaged in portfolios of ten songs with a cover sheet. The edition size is 1,000 plus 50 artists’ proofs. IMAGINE is a celebration of one of the greatest songwriters of all time.

This exhibit will also contain rare posters and photographs. The highly collectible nature of the pieces in the exhibit adds to the excitement of the show. There are very few of these lyric sheets left and this may be one of the last times one can view and purchase these wonderful pieces of history by John Lennon.
