New Year's Eve Events and Parties in Healdsburg
The year 2012 is coming to a close tonight, which sounds like a good reason for a party. In Healdsburg, we have just a handful of choices - so add your own ideas if you have more.
Probably your New Year's Eves plans are all set, but just in case, here are some local establishments who are planning something special for the last Monday night of 2012, and early Tuesday morning, 2013.
Dry Creek Kitchen: Ring in the New Year with dinner at Charlie Palmer's Dry Creek Kitchen, followed by dancing to the jazzy Shea Breaux Quintet in Hotel Healdsburg's Fireplace Lobby, along with favors and champagne. Spoonbar Restaurant: New Year's at Spoonbar includes two menus, vegetarian and otherwise, with dinner served from 6 - 11 p.m. You can check out the menu online here; it looks great. A few days ago we put a call out on Healdsburg Patch Facebook for suggestions on what to do for NYE here in town. Unfortunately we had very limited results If you know of something to do (aside from a private party that we're not invited to) in the Healdsburg area, please leave a comment.
Outside of Healdsburg there other choices, from Wonderbread 5 at the Last Day Saloon (120 5th Street Santa Rosa ) to a family style New Year's Eve party at the Flamingo Resort (2777 Fourth St. at Farmer's Lane). If you're up for farther travels, there's a Countdown to 2013 at The Bay View Restaurant & Bar in Bodega Bay, or blues guitarist Tommy Castro at the Mystic Theater in Petaluma.
