Yup – it’s a new blog, and you can expect to see us posting stuff pretty darned often.
The “us” is my writing pal, Ken Dalton, and me, Kiki Noack (although more people call me by my real first name, Carol). We’ll be chatting about performing arts in Healdsburg.
This is what makes us savvy about what we tell you: Ken has been performing at Camp Rose for what seems like forever. He spent a decade or so singing in the Hbg Chorus too. And he just happens to be the popular author of the Pinky & Bear murder mystery series of books too. Ken will tell you about all kinds of performing arts activities in our burg.
Me? You used to read my stories about performing arts in the Healdsburg Trib and its sister papers, but now I get to focus on just Healdsburg. More precisely, I’ll mostly chat about all things Raven – I run the marketing function at our quirky community gathering place. Plus, I sing whenever I get the chance, and I run the strange and wonderful Mr. Healdsburg Pageant.
I figure our backgrounds make Ken and I about as qualified as anyone else in this town to talk about performing arts here. Expect to hear from Ken first; I’ll be checking in soon! We hope you find our stories and postings interesting.
