Where Should the Locals Eat?

When you want to grab a quick bite to eat in Healdsburg where do you go?

Healdsburg has changed so much in the last 30 years I have lived in this town.

It has become a destination spot where people love to come and enjoy amazing cusine, shop our local stores and enjoy the best wines around.

Now I'm not complaining about the changes because, let's face it, without the expensive restaurants and stores we wouldnt have much tourism.

My only issue is that we need more places centered around the locals who live here. As much as I would love to eat nightly at Zin, Scopa or Barn Diva it's just not pratical.

So I just wondered if any other locals have suggestions for places to eat in town that aren't high end. Also what type of restaurants or stores would you like to see in town?

Sometimes it would be nice to get a reasonably priced piece of clothing in town without having to drive all the way to Santa Rosa.

Like I said in the beginning, I love our town and embrace all the changes but would like to see some changes for those of us that live here year round.

I love El Sombrero and El Farolito but I can only have burritos so many times! Great food though. I would like to see another Chinese Food Restaurant or a diner in town. Also a real deli would be great! I love Big Johns for their sandwiches but itd be nice to have a sit down deli with real sandwiches and good bread!

I miss Fitch Mountain Eddies. That place had great food and a nice atmosphere to eat. So I think I would like something like that. I have not tried that new place Fireside by Dollar Tree but heard they have good burgers and a big breakfast menu.

Wild Sage Deli is pretty great, and nice people, too!

I miss Fitch Mountain Eddie's too. Why did that grocery store have to evict them? Did they really need the space. Flaky Cream Doughnuts is decent and there are no toursits.

The rents are to high for commercial in Healdsburg. I know of one small Tasing Room paying $5.000 per mo. Yes Mary Rose Nicholas you are saving money by driving to SR We in Napa have to leave town to shop as well.

Frank & Ernies! I eat out a lot in town, and it's the only place where I leave feeling satisfied, with the portions, and the price...
That being said , nothing comes close to Scopa. (well maybe Campo Fina!)

The Wurst is truly the best! :) I love the atmosphere and I feel like the Locals are what it is all about there. The prices are reasonable and lots to choose from and there are weekly Local specials and Trivia Nights, etc. If you have not gone or have not gone lately I highly suggest going back again and again. I had friends visiting over the Holidays and took them there - with our dogs I might add, and as soon as we went in we were treated like kings or at least recognized and felt the Local love! ;)

These offices look great! I would love to have taken a look, but I don't live close enough to theRead More area. I was looking for spaces out in Toronto, and started looking at for office space for rent via http://www.theprofessionalcentre.com. But, again, your spaces look really nice, affordable, and would have done the job well. :)
