Healdsburg Death Notices: Dale Goode, 'Little Miss Healdsburg,' More

Louis "Rey" Guzman, Sr., who lived in Healdsburg from the time he was 1 year old, died Oct. 7 at the age of 79. He was married for 43 years, a National Guard veteran and a Louisiana Pacific Lumber retiree. 

David Lee Boren, 51, died Sept. 29 in Healdsburg. He grew up in Santa Rosa and was a longtime Santa Rosa Host Lions Club member. He was married for 32 years, and is survived by his wife.

Dale Goode, the last surviving member of the three founders of Murphy-Goode Vineyards and Winery, died Sept. 23 in Healdsburg at the age of 79. He was partially paralyzed by an accident in 1976, but made his mark as a pioneer winegrower in Alexander Valley, according to Wine Spectator.

Constance Lynn (Connie George) Williams, 67, "also known as Little Miss Healdsburg," died Aug. 31 in Healdsburg. She was born in Santa Rosa, and is survived by a brother and a sister, their spouses, two daughters and their spouses, grandchildren and more.
