All four people in the Honda were injured. The driver, 46-year-old Waleed Abdel Mageed, of Windsor, suffered moderate injuries, as did an 11-year-old boy. A 30-year-old woman and a 6-year-old girl suffered minor injuries.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation, but driver intoxication does not appear to be a factor, Lawson said.

The crash blocked two lanes on southbound Highway 101.
