17-Year-Old Santa Rosa Boy Allegedly Stabbed 2 in Gang Incident

Two people were injured and a teenager arrested following a gang related stabbing in Santa Rosa on Saturday night, police said.

Officers responded to reports of a stabbing near Rockwell Place at about 7:45 p.m., according to Santa Rosa police.

Arriving units found two victims suffering from multiple stab wounds, police said.

The two victims, a 38-year-old man and a second male around 18 years old, were taken to Santa Rosa hospital, police said.

The older victim underwent surgery and is expected to survive, police said.

The teenage victim was treated and released.

Both were residents of Santa Rosa.

Investigators determined the assault was gang related and identified a suspect.

A 17-year-old Santa Rosa boy was arrested for attempted murder and gang enhancements, police said.
